metal C composition Pavement's standing on concrete, MDF and mirror base - Building of Paranoia, intervention on Ben Pimlott Building's terrace 2018

While studying at Goldsmith College I started to produce work that could reflect the paradoxes I experienced while studying, where I was provided with a studio-space to produce work, yet I couldn't afford a room to live because of the high cost of the University fees.

This experience was at once an obstacle as well an opportunity to produce - through a mode of displays and the use of inherent precarious, fragile and easily-replaceable mass-produced materials - work that could set a conversation about the process of gentrification happening within the creative hub as a consequence of the late capitalist living condition.
